But Tristan is a very special mime. He's basically a slave, owned by Kaze Corp. and used to steal sensitive high-tech business information from rival megacorporations. Mimes who perform this task well are given their freedom. Tristan is told he has one last, important mission, and that then he will be released from service. But before he can begin it, he is approached by a strange, legendary woman named Okasan, who runs a sort of "underground railroad" that helps mimes gain their freedom. The story follows Tristan's choices as he sets off on his mission. Does he play things the safe way, relying that Kaze Corp. will indeed give him his freedom, or does he risk his life in a desperate gamble for freedom?
